With its offices here in Milton Keynes, this reputable firm, with an enviable client base and 20 year history, is seeking to appoint an experienced Bookkeeper and strong all round Administrator to provide valuable all round support to its existing accounting team and general administrative function.

As Bookkeeper & Administrator your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Maintenance of client accounts
  • VAT return preparation
  • Supporting the monthly and weekly payroll function
  • Assisting with year-end accounts preparation
  • Ad-hoc tasks / projects when required
  • General all round office administration support, including filing and archiving, ordering supplies, organizing and coordinating

With good demonstrable experience, you’ll possess:

  • A full AAT qualification (though part-qualification / study will also be considered)
  • Excellent all round bookkeeping and administration skills
  • Previous payroll experience (though not essential)
  • Extensive all round administration experience
  • Good all round computer/systems literacy, with a good level of MS Word and Excel skill
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills (both written and verbal)

A valid UK / EU driving license

In return, you’ll receive an annual salary of circa £20,000 - £24,000 per annum (negotiable and subject to experience) (pro rata for part-time or reduced hours), plus 25 days annual holiday entitlement (+ statutory bank holidays), pension scheme and a discretionary annual bonus.
