Payroll & HR Assistant – are you an experienced payroll administrator that’s currently available for contract work, but ultimately seeking a permanent post in the Newport Pagnell area of Milton Keynes?
Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, your role would be to assist with payroll production and associated reports. You would also assist with employee contracts and other HR based administration, as well as providing support to the wider finance team when required.
As Payroll & HR Assistant, your duties would also include:
- Processing payroll and personal data amendments
- Maintaining payroll and HR records
- Handling employee queries
- Completing PAYE forms and other payroll related requests
- System upgrades
- Balance sheet maintenance
With good interpersonal and all round communication skills, both written and verbal, you’ll be a Payroll & HR Assistant with strong all-round MS Office skills, a versatile approach to working in a busy payroll, HR and finance department and of course, good relevant payroll experience to date.
On offer in return is an initial 6 month contract, but with firm expectation for permanency, with a national, award winning, business.
In return, you'll receive a basic starting salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, subject to demonstrable experience, along with a range of other attractive benefits that include;

A standard 37.5 hour week would apply, with a mixture of both on-site and home working.
